Job Description We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced and motivated Claims professional to join our team. The position requires the following, but is not limited to:

• Develop, prepare and present educational materials that focus on areas in need of improvement and use these materials in a manner that facilitates the development of other associates.
• Work with branch management to reinforce the skills of associates in the claims branch and facilitate branch management's understanding of the associate's development.
• Review the progress of meeting training objectives, analyze training procedures, and prepare reports for management including conclusions and recommendations for a solution.
• Work effectively with associates and customers at all levels.
• Work with branch management groups and Home Office Claims to develop plans for regular, effective interaction with associates in all of the branches.
• Review and evaluate the performance and efficiency of external vendors including but not limited to independent adjusters, appraisers, and others.
• Travel, attend meetings, seminars and other training classes as required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of claims related experience including Associate, Branch and Field Claim Representative experience.
• Estimating/Repair industry experience preferred
• Continually seek more efficient and effective ways to train and build the skill level of our Claim Representatives.
• Above average problem solving, training and skill building ability.
• Exhibits strong leadership skills and above average communication skills.
